My name is Shaun Randall, a Full Stack Developer with over 20 years of experience in web development and software engineering. While I’ve been working with computers since high school, this path wasn’t always part of the plan.
Early Life
I grew up on a dairy farm and ranch in northwest Oklahoma, where I learned invaluable life lessons such as hard work, time management, problem-solving, and ingenuity.
Education
After high school, I pursued a Computer Science degree at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). At 21, driven by my passion for learning and encouragement from my parents, I moved to Houston, Texas, where I continued my education in computer-aided graphic design at ITT Tech.
Professional Journey
My professional journey began at CPaT Inc., a global leader in commercial pilot training, where I started as a graphic artist while still in school. I quickly transitioned into a more specialized role, developing interactive aircraft-specific training courseware and expanding the in-house online Learning Management System. By 2009, I was promoted to Director of Research and Development, leading the design and development of online systems, mobile apps, and training courses for flight crews worldwide.
During this time, I had the privilege of collaborating with prestigious organizations such as NASA, Boeing, and Airbus.
In 2012, I identified the need for businesses transitioning from paper-based systems and spreadsheets to digital solutions. This insight led to the creation of the Digital Data Manager (DDM), a comprehensive tool that streamlined processes and improved efficiency, eventually forming the foundation for my future endeavors.
In 2013, I was recruited by a London-based startup, Strat Aero International Ltd., as Chief Technology Officer. Strat Aero specialized in using aviation-related tools to enhance operations across various industries. I managed technical operations, server management, and front-end and back-end development for custom software solutions, as well as API integrations. It was at Strat Aero that the DDM evolved into a valuable solution for our clients.
Personal Life and Today
The birth of my first child in 2014 marked a shift in my priorities, and by the time my second child arrived in 2016, I had founded Software Response LLC, where I now specialize in creating customized software solutions to enhance operational efficiency. The DDM, now named OPTIM, remains the cornerstone of my work, connecting clients with seamless, efficient systems.
Through Software Response LLC, I continue to leverage my international experience to deliver innovative solutions tailored to my clients' unique needs. I remain committed to improving workflows and enhancing productivity through custom software development.

Hello there! I'm Shaun Randall, a Full Stack Developer with over 20 years of experience in web development and software engineering. Although I've been in front of a computer since high school, this career path wasn't always part of the plan.
I grew up in a small community on a dairy farm and ranch in northwest Oklahoma, where I learned invaluable life lessons and developed skills such as hard work, time management, problem-solving, and ingenuity. After graduating high school, I pursued a Computer Science degree at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). At the age of 21, encouraged by my passion for learning and a nudge from my parents, I relocated to Houston, Texas, where I continued my education in computer-aided graphical design at ITT.
My first job applying this knowledge was with CPaT Inc., a global leader in commercial pilot training. I began as a graphic artist while still in school. I quickly transitioned to developing their training courseware and expanding their online Learning Management System. In 2009, I was promoted to Director of Research and Development, where I led the design and development of innovative online systems, apps, and customized training courses for airlines worldwide.
During my nearly decade-long tenure, I had the privilege of collaborating with some of the world's most prestigious organizations, including NASA, Boeing, and Airbus.
In 2012, I recognized a growing need for businesses to transition from paper-based to digital operations. This insight inspired me to develop a software solution that streamlined processes and improved efficiency without requiring multiple applications and tools. This solution eventually became known as the Digital Data Manager (DDM), which laid the foundation for my future endeavors.
In 2013, I was honored to be recruited by Strat Aero International Ltd, a London-based startup, where I served as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, I oversaw technical operations, server management, front-end and back-end development, and API integrations across multiple locations and companies.
The birth of my first child in 2014 marked a shift in my priorities, motivating me to stay closer to home. By the time my second child was born, I had established my own company, Software Response LLC, where I now specialize in creating customized software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and improve daily workflows.
Since founding Software Response LLC, I’ve drawn on my years of international experience developing custom training materials and web applications for major corporations. Today, I remain committed to delivering innovative solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of my clients.
